Census 2010 – my rant on it
I got my 2010 Census form in the mail today. On the tail of the mailer sent out last week telling people it was coming. Wow! How many millions did THAT cost. Bulk rate’s cheapest per unit cost is 18¢ a pop, plus the cost of printing, stuffing and addressing all those pieces. Hmmm… How many households are there in the United States? There were 105 million households in the United States according to the last census, http://www.census.gov/population/www/pop-profile/files/2000/chap05.pdf .
