Wine Labels
I’ve finally made the labels for my first batch of wine. I’ll be sampling it on Wednesday. That will have been 30 days after bottling, though it’s supposed to best after 3 months. Anyway, since it’s an Australian Shiraz, I figured what better to put on the bottle than my Australian Cattle Dog: Opal. Here’s the label: Share and Enjoy:
Dog Whisperer Fan – Walking the dog
I’m a fan of the Dog Whisperer. Both the show and the books. Cesar Millan knows his stuff — he trains people and he rehabilitates dogs. Cesar’s Way: The Natural, Everyday Guide to Understanding and Correcting Common Dog Problems (Paperback) Be the Pack Leader: Use Cesar’s Way to Transform Your Dog . . . and Your Life (Paperback) One of the things he teaches is how desperately dogs need exercise. A challenge to those of us who are lazy (me) and who have dogs with allergies. A dog allergic to grass/pollen… who’d have thunk it? Anyway, I posted a “want” on Chesapeake Freecycle for a treadmill and a wonderful lady responded within a few hours. My son, Andy, and I went to pick it up later that afternoon. Works...
