Hi Valerie, I spoke to my aunt this evening. Valia Powell married George Washington Hayden. Their son was my grandfather and died in the flu epidemic in 1918 in Evansville, Indiana. My aunt has the geneology back to then. She is going to send me a copy. I want to see put it together with yours and see what I come up with. Have been looking at other sites concerning the Hayden family, including Basil Hayden of Old Grandad whiskey fame. Can trace the Haydens back to Thomas de Haydon born in 1185 in England.
