So sad for the folks in Suffolk

Watching the news tonight really depressed me. I don’t actually know the people in the houses that got destroyed, but I know people who live in that area. I just can imagine having everything one owned destroyed in just a few minutes. Imagine if your house was flattened but your neighbor’s house untouched… How could you explain that to your kids?

As of the late news there were no reports of death, but I find it hard to believe that there was nobody home at ANY of those imploded houses. There is so much debris, they wouldn’t be able to see a body.

My prayers go out to those that lost all their worldly possessions. At least it’s just “stuff” and not lives.

== PS: it turned out that there weren’t any fatalities. Pretty miraculous!¬†

What a blessing, that after all was said and done, nobody was killed in that mess in Suffolk.
A friend I know from a real estate group had her house damaged pretty bad, but it’s repairable. And her dogs are just fine too.
