The Effects of Folly

That’s exactly what the US has created by it’s massive entitlement programs. I’m all for taking care of people who are truly sick or have REAL health problems that prevent them from holding a job. But what I don’t agree with is providing support for the millions on disability who are ambulatory and really just don’t want to work. Sorry, but OCD or being bi-polar are not disabilities that prevent people from working. They are simply obstacles that have to be dealt with. If you can shop, bowl, work on your house, etc., you are not disabled and if you are getting disability $$, you are STEALING from me and every other taxpayer out there.

Ditto for providing welfare for people just because they have kids. Having unprotected sex that results in a child shouldn’t be a burden on the taxpayers. Multiple kids? How about forced sterilization? Extreme? Yup. Tough love. Make welfare a loan (like it was originally) and those entitled folks will all disappear.

I have no idea why I’m so cranky tonight.
